Certificates
After attending one of our extracurricular language courses, you can download from the course Elly page:
Extracurricular courses that provide a level certificate may be useful to those who pass the final test:
The language level certificates (“attestati”) issued by the Language Centre do not correspond to internationally recognised language certificates.
Starting from January 2025: on the Elly page of the Language Placement Test for International Mobility (LPT) it’s possible to download a certificate showing the level achieved in the test. This can be submitted, if necessary, when applying to the assigned foreign university, if it is sufficient to meet a specific language requirement (for information on language requirements, please refer to the International Office web pages dedicated to study abroad programmes). Before January 2025: certificates related to the results of the Language Placement Tests for international mobility held in November 2023 and September 2024 (for mobility periods to be carried out during the academic year 2024/2025) are issued upon request by the International Office (erasmus@unipr.it). Language Placement Test certificates (“attestati”) do not correspond to internationally recognized language certificates and can only be used for participation in UNIPR international mobility programmes.
Stamped certificates attesting the passing (and level) of the language proficiency test (“idoneità”) included in your programme of study can be requested to the Student Registry Office of your Department. Alternatively, from your Esse3 personal profile you can download a self-certification listing all the exams that you have passed ("Autocertificazione Iscrizione con esami" or, if already graduated, "Autocertificazione Titolo Finale con Esami"). Information at https://www.unipr.it/en/autocertificazioni-e-richiesta-certificati. N.B. The self-certification downloaded from Esse3 will indicate the CEFR language level achieved either in the name of the exam itself (e.g. "English B1", "English B2 ") and / or by stating the level of the test according to the study cycle (e.g. "Starting from Academic Year 2005/2006, the English, French, German and Spanish language tests taken as part of the first cycle degree courses at the University of Parma are at CEFR B1 level"). |
