LACE – Linguistic and Cultural Education

LACE (Linguistic and Cultural Education) was launched by the Centro Linguistico of the University of Parma in 2020*. It is  a peer-reviewed journal which gathers contributions from Italian and international scholars in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Interlinguistics, Glottodidactics and Translation Studies and all fields of interest for foreign language teaching.

The journal includes contributions from various critical and methodological perspectives in synergy, and the name ‘LACE’, as well as being an acronym, also intends to invoke ‘laces’ and their function of joining together.
Edited by Davide Astori and Michela Canepari, the journal invites contributions based on diverse critical perspectives as well as the full range of written and oral practice. Articles, interviews and papers based on reflective and practical teaching practice, and book reviews, are all invited. Submitted articles are subject to preliminary evaluation by the Editors, and are anonymously peer reviewed if deemed suitable.

Authors are asked to comply with the editorial guidelines and send their contributions to: davide.astori@unipr.it and michela.canepari@unipr.it.

Lace is published annually and proposals must be received by the editorial board by February 1 for inclusion in the issue of the current year.
Lace accepts submissions in Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, French and Esperanto.
